Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- read, write legibly, understand, and speak English
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
- must be able to respond to visual and oral cues
- able to work in constricting areas
- able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights
- able to work at a fast pace in often crowded and noisy environment
- physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 25 lbs
- and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel, and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces

Job Duties
- Provides fast, friendly, professional service to casino guests, beverage servers, and bartenders
- monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
- serves as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
- promotes casino events and programs
- provides personalized service and uses guest name
- resolves service problems according to guidelines
- works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, other barbacks, Beverage Supervisors, and Casino Supervisors
- maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment for each bar, obtaining replacement stock from Warehouse inventory in accordance with procedure
- places liquors, fruits, glassware, linen, silverware, paper supplies, and sundries in their designated places following established storage guidelines and safety procedures
- replaces empty draught beer kegs as may be required
- slices and pits fruit
- fills ice bins with crushed or cubed ice from designated ice machines
- operates and maintains all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
- removes and properly disposes of all debris accumulated at the bar in accordance with departmental procedures
- wipes counter areas, sinks, and floors as required to maintain a clean and safe work station
- maintains cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
