Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Some cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Must successfully pass a background check
- Must be able to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service consistently
- Advanced attention to detail with capability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills for dealing cross-functionally with peers and management
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates
- Basic knowledge of math, weights and measures
- Demonstrated ability to use a cash register or POS terminal
- Ability to bend, reach and frequently lift items up to 5 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push and pull fully loaded hand trucks and use box cutters
- Familiarity with grocery or convenience store operations and business practices
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel and Word

Job Duties
- Compute bill and itemize lists showing amount due from customer
- Receive payment by cash, check, debit card, credit card, or gift card
- Responsible for cash accountability
- Issue receipts, change, refunds, credits, coupons, or rain checks
- Operate cash register or POS terminal including scanning and entering item prices
- Stock sales floor shelves, cold case, cooler, and freezer
- Greet customers and respond promptly to customer needs
