Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashiering, stocking and customer service experience preferred but not necessary
- Ability to deliver courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- Ability to perform repetitive hand use including grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach as required
- Ability to work in conditions that include exposure to temperatures around 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and dry environments
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to safely use tools and equipment including knives, box cutters, and pallet jacks
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers in a timely and effective manner
- Assist supervisors in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
- Follow proper procedures for customer check out, handling of tenders, use of tares, sales of alcoholic beverages, and use of PLUs and UPCs
- Maintain a safe, clean and well-organized working and shopping environment
- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner
- Follow established procedures to report errors in retail pricing or signage
- Answer telephone calls and pages quickly and with excellent phone etiquette
- Position requires additional stocking responsibilities
