Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Passion for quality, safety and sanitation
- Excellent English reading, writing and speaking skills
- Friendly attitude and team player
- Ability to work independently and make decisions
- Proactive and urgent demeanor
- Ability to stand for up to 6 hours continuously
- Ability to move around café to attend guests
- Ability to lift and handle objects up to 25 pounds
- Ability to position self to move items from floor to shelves
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior customer service experience advantageous
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Knowledge of café products and services helpful
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light lifting
Job Duties
- Complete transactions by scanning items, inputting product codes, processing cash and card payments
- Ensure cash drawer security and balance adhering to cash handling policy
- Provide excellent guest service by responding and resolving requests promptly
- Stock bakery, refrigerated products, and impulse items
- Maintain professionalism in interactions with guests and team members
- Collaborate with team for efficient operations
- Keep work area clean, organized and stocked
- Resolve issues and inform management as necessary
- Clean and maintain dining room
- Assist with coffee service as needed
- Perform additional related tasks as assigned
