Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- ability to stand, walk and talk for extended periods
- basic math skills for transactions
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- ability to use computerized point-of-sale (POS) systems
Job Qualifications

- ability to process information and merchandise through computer system and registers
- great attitude with friendly personality
- ability to read, count and write to accurately complete all documentation
- ability to access all areas of store including selling floor, stock area and register area
- ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store
- ability to move or handle merchandise throughout the store
- ability to work varied hours and days as business dictates
Job Duties
- Ensure each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a friendly environment including greeting and acknowledging every guest
- maintain outstanding standards and solid product knowledge
- accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at registers
- assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping
- assist in processing and replenishing merchandise and participate in receiving and monitoring floor stock
- constantly observe customers to ensure loss prevention
- maintain compliance with VOA Michigan policies and procedures
- ensure that all duties are carried out in a timely and orderly fashion so that VOA Michigan functions efficiently
- perform other duties as assigned
