Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, see, hear, and drive as needed
- Must be able to work in a busy store environment with frequent interruptions
- Must be able to handle exposure to seasonal elements and diverse customer interactions
- Must comply with all VOAMI policies and procedures
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to process information and merchandise through computer systems and registers
- Friendly personality with a great attitude
- Ability to read, count, and write for accurate documentation
- Physical ability to access all areas of the store including sales floor, stock area, and register
- Proficiency in operating store equipment
- Ability to move or handle merchandise
- Flexibility to work varied hours and days
Job Duties
- Maintain guest services by greeting and acknowledging guests and providing outstanding customer service
- Maintain solid product knowledge and stay updated on merchandise promotions and advertisements
- Accurately and efficiently complete sales transactions and manage cash register responsibilities
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping
- Participate in processing and replenishing merchandise and monitor floor stock
- Observe customers constantly to ensure loss prevention
- Maintain compliance with VOAMI policies and perform other duties as assigned
