Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old or meet state-specific age requirements
Ability to work night shifts typically between 10 PM and 6 AM
Must be able to work weekends and holidays
Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
Ability to read, write, and understand English
Basic math skills
Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
Pass pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check
Friendly and welcoming attitude
Detail-oriented and reliable
Flexible and adaptable work style
Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Job Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older as per state laws
Ability to work weekends and holidays including overnight shift hours
Strong communication skills including ability to read, write, and speak English effectively
Basic math proficiency including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
Capable of frequent lifting of 10 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
Personable and positive demeanor with strong customer service skills
Detail-oriented with ability to notice small details that enhance customer experience
Reliable, punctual, and responsible work ethic
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced, varied task environment
Previous retail or customer service experience appreciated but not required

Job Duties

Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed
Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales ensuring compliance with all age verification and legal requirements
Offer friendly service and upsell customers when possible to increase sales
Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe including deep cleaning restrooms, wiping down and sanitizing gas pumps, picking up litter, and taking out trash
Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise looking fresh and full
Maintain a clean and organized store by sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and maintaining entryways
Willingly cross-train in other departments including deli as needed
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Be a team player and step in to help wherever needed
