Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older in AR, CT, FL, LA, MI, MA, MS, MO, NC, SC, TX, TN, AZ, and CO
- Must be 21 years of age or older in all other states
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be available for second shift hours between 2 PM and Midnight
- Must be willing to work hard and remain on feet for most of the shift
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background check
- Must be capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older in specified states or 21 years or older in all other states
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Personable with a friendly demeanor
- Detail-oriented with strong attention to customer experience
- Reliable and responsible with dependable attendance during shift hours
- Flexible and adaptable to various tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile and run register with accuracy and speed
- Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales ensuring compliance with legal requirements
- Offer friendly service and upsell customers to increase sales
- Keep inside and outside of store clean and safe including deep cleaning restrooms and sanitizing gas pumps
- Pick up litter and trash from store and lot area
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh
- Maintain a clean and organized store including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning windows
- Cross-train in other departments such as deli as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Be a team player and assist wherever needed
