Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older in specific states and 21 in others
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be willing to work hard and stay on feet for most of shift
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively
- Basic math skills
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Friendly demeanor
- Attention to detail
- Reliable presence during critical hours
- Flexible and adaptable
- Experience in retail or customer service is appreciated but not required

- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet every customer with a smile and run the register with accuracy and speed
- Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales ensuring compliance with age and legal requirements
- Offer friendly service and upsell customers to increase sales
- Keep the inside and outside of the store clean and safe including deep cleaning restrooms and sanitizing gas pumps
- Pick up litter and trash from floor and lot area and take out trash to dumpster
- Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to keep merchandise fresh and full
- Maintain a clean and organized store through sweeping, mopping, cleaning windows, and entryways
- Cross-train in other departments including deli as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Be a team player and assist wherever needed
