Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
Ability to operate POS systems efficiently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Basic math skills for cash handling
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights
Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
Strong communication skills including bilingual abilities preferred
Experience in supervising or leading team members is a plus
Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory management
Knowledge of grocery store operations or retail sales environment is advantageous
Customer service orientation with a friendly, professional demeanor
Basic math skills for handling cash registers and calculating discounts or totals
Ability to upsell products tactfully while maintaining customer satisfaction
Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos is desirable

Job Duties

Operate POS systems accurately to process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges
Greet customers warmly and assist with product questions or recommendations
Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of items
Upsell additional products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales
Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring products are well-presented
Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and attention to detail
Manage inventory levels by assisting with stock replenishment and inventory counts
Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and phone etiquette
Assist in merchandising and promotional activities to boost sales performance
