Job Requirements

No prior retail experience required
must be able to lift 50 pounds
ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
ability to use hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling
ability to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
ability to work in wet and cold environments
ability to use tools such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Bags groceries
retrieves carts and baskets
cleans, sweeps, mops, stocks products, and helps ensure overall maintenance of the department
may operate cash register equipment
assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
provides excellent customer service and addresses needs of customers
maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of product
follows and complies with established procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices
maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
immediately reports safety hazards and violations
performs other duties as assigned by leadership
