Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- standing and walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- manual dexterity using single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- physical movements including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks

Job Duties
- Bags groceries
- retrieves carts and baskets
- cleans, sweeps, mops, stocks products, and helps ensure overall maintenance of the department
- may operate cash register equipment
- assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and reducing waiting times
- arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service and addresses needs in a timely manner
- maximizes sales potential through effective merchandising and product handling
- follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures
- maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned
