Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- must be able to lift 50 pounds
- able to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
- hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- able to perform bending, twisting, squatting and reaching
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- able to work in wet and cold environments
- flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks

Job Duties
- Bags groceries
- retrieves carts and baskets
- cleans, sweeps, mops, stocks products, and helps ensure overall maintenance of the department
- may operate cash register equipment
- assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
- arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs in a timely manner
- maximizes sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products
- follows established procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices
- maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- performs other duties as assigned by leadership
