Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work variable hour part-time or full-time shifts based on theatre needs
- Legal age to sell or serve alcohol if assigned duties include alcohol sales or service
- Regular and consistent attendance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing walking sitting using hands reaching talking hearing and occasional lifting up to 60 pounds
- Compliance with company dress code and policies
- Ability to read and understand training materials including sexual harassment and discrimination
- Ability to follow all federal state and local laws regarding breaks and meal periods
Job Qualifications
- Completion of cast certification program as cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion
- Completion of Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University
- If applicable completion of legally required state or local alcohol sales training and certification
- Good public speaking skills
- Ability to listen effectively and respond clearly
- Ability to perform calculations with speed and accuracy
- Ability to identify problems gather relevant data and evaluate alternatives
- Excellent communication skills with customers co-workers and management
- Ability to establish goals budget time and set priorities
Job Duties
- Operating POS system including handling cash drawer credit cards travelers checks gift cards redeemed discount tickets passes and coupons
- Up selling and suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience such as 3D RPX IMAX
- Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
- Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy
- Responding to phone calls and guest questions consistent with guest service philosophy
- Operating preparing and cleaning all concession related equipment
- Complying with local state and federal food safety laws
- Tearing tickets collecting and depositing appropriate stubs and directing patrons
- Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
- Managing crowd control and assisting guests in finding seats
- Cleaning auditoriums restrooms lobby hallways and other non-auditorium areas
- Reporting problems discrepancies or unusual situations to management
- Assisting with all opening and closing duties as assigned by management
