Job Requirements

  • Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • may require occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
  • must adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • reliable and punctual with a positive attitude

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
  • basic math skills and comfort using a POS system
  • strong communication skills and a friendly personality
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming experience
  • take food and ice cream orders accurately in person and/or via phone or POS system
  • answer menu questions and offer recommendations
  • process payments and handle cash, credit, and digital transactions
  • issue receipts and ensure accurate change is given
  • follow proper cash drawer and register procedures
  • ensure the front counter, dining area, and beverage/condiment stations remain clean and stocked
  • work with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
  • assist with packaging take-out or delivery orders
  • follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
  • support team members as needed during busy shifts
  • maintain a positive and professional attitude with customers and coworkers
