Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of six months food service cashier experience
- good oral and written communication skills

Job Duties
- Processes all cafeteria sales
- reconciles cash drawer to ensure accuracy of starting amount
- obtains a sufficient amount of rolled coins
- inputs appropriate amounts, according to classification (employee vs visitor)
- ensures proper payment is received
- records all transactions for non-paying customers and secures proper register tapes with the required signatures
- closes register and counts cash receipts in the presence of a Supervisor
- opens and closes the cafeteria as needed
- sets up, portions, and places appropriate items on patient trays and delivers to patients
- sets up catered functions, as required
- stocks cafeteria supplies and products
- maintains cleanliness of cafeteria or assigned work area
- performs related duties, as required
