Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior cashier experience preferred
  • ability to work part time approximately 25 hours per week
  • availability to work varying day shifts
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • basic math skills for cash handling
  • compliance with company safety policies including use of protective gloves and slip-resistant shoes

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cashier experience preferred
  • ability to operate POS system
  • basic knowledge of food preparation
  • understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
  • strong customer service skills
  • ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to follow procedures for cash handling

Job Duties

  • Operates Point of Sale system
  • assists the Chef with food preparation
  • prepares coffee and maintains coffee and cashier stations
  • performs cashier duties including cash handling and deposits
  • helps prepare meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
  • performs general cleaning duties and trash removal
  • inventories and restocks supplies and food products
  • sets up serving line and ensures food temperatures are monitored and recorded
  • serves hot and cold food items to customers
  • maintains refrigerator stocking and product rotation using first in, first out method
  • stocks pantries and records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures
  • performs other duties as assigned
