Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in cash handling or food service is advantageous
- ability to operate a POS system effectively
- strong customer service skills
- capability to work in a fast-paced environment
- good communication skills
- willingness to learn and train on the job
Job Duties
- Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- help prepare catering orders
- performs cashier duties using the POS system
- perform general cleaning duties including trash removal
- provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- cashiers according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy and receipts
- make deposits at the end of each shift
- inventory and restock supplies and food products
- set up serving line ensuring temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges
- notify cooks if food temperatures are out of acceptable limits
- serve hot and cold items to customers
- set up items for purchase daily
- keep refrigerator stocked and rotate products using first in first out rule
- stock pantries with correct par levels and record replenishments and refrigerator temperatures
- perform other assigned duties
