Job Requirements
- A valid Food Handler's card preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days and varied hours
- Capacity to stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform cleaning and food prep tasks
- Willingness to learn and follow established food service procedures
- Capable of operating POS system accurately
- Must be able to work full-time or part-time
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in food service or cashiering is beneficial but not required
- Ability to operate Point of Sale (POS) systems
- Basic math and cash handling skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- Helps prepare catering orders
- Performs cashier duties using the POS system
- Performs general cleaning duties including removing trash and garbage
- Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- Cashiers according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy and making deposits
- Inventories and restocks supplies and food products
- Sets up serving line ensuring food temperatures are recorded and within acceptable ranges
- Serves hot and cold items to customers
- Keeps refrigerator stocked and rotates products using first in first out
- Stocks pantries with correct par levels and records replenished amounts
- Records refrigerator temperatures daily
- Performs other duties as assigned
