Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior fast food or food service experience preferred
- ability to operate cashier and POS system
- must have open availability including nights and weekends
- ability to stand for extended periods
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- prior fast food experience preferred
- prior work experience with Einstein Bagels preferred
- ability to operate Point of Sale system accurately
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- ability to work varying shifts including nights and weekends
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in food service areas
Job Duties
- help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- help prepare catering orders
- perform cashier duties using the POS system
- perform general cleaning duties and remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- perform cash handling according to established procedures including making deposits
- inventory and restock supplies and food products
- set up serving line ensuring food temperatures are taken, recorded, and within acceptable ranges
- serve hot and cold items to customers
- keep refrigerator stocked and product rotated using the first in, first out rule
- stock pantries with correct par levels of food items daily
- record replenished amounts on floor stock form
- record refrigerator temperatures daily
- perform other duties as assigned
