Job Requirements
- Previous food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to operate Point of Sale system
- availability Monday through Friday during school hours
- ability to maintain cash accuracy and handle deposits
- must be able to perform general cleaning duties
- ability to follow established procedures and food safety standards
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous food service experience preferred but not required
- basic math and cash handling skills
- ability to operate Point of Sale systems
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to stand for extended periods during a shift
Job Duties
- Operate Point of Sale system
- assist the chef in preparing meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
- help prepare catering orders
- perform cashier duties using the POS system
- perform general cleaning duties including trash removal
- provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- maintain cash accuracy with receipts and make deposits at the end of each shift
- inventory and restock supplies and food products
- set up serving line ensuring food temperatures are within acceptable limits
- serve hot and cold items to customers
- stock refrigerator and pantries using first-in, first-out rule
- record temperature and stock data on floor stock forms
- perform other duties as assigned
