Job Requirements
- Prior cashier or food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to operate Point of Sale system
- ability to work full-time with varying schedule including rotating weekends
- capability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting
- willingness to adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
- reliable and punctual
- must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior cashier or food service experience preferred but not required
- ability to operate POS system
- strong customer service skills
- basic food preparation knowledge
- ability to perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks
- good communication skills
- ability to work varying shifts including weekends
- team-oriented attitude
Job Duties
- Operates Point of Sale system
- assists the chef in food preparation including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
- helps prepare catering orders
- performs cashier duties and maintains cash accuracy
- conducts general cleaning duties and trash removal
- provides customer service in retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- inventories and restocks supplies and food products
- sets up serving line and monitors food temperatures
- serves hot and cold items to customers
- stocks pantries and refrigerators using first-in, first-out method
- records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures
- performs other duties as assigned
