Job Requirements
- must have prior cashier and food service experience preferred
- ability to operate POS system
- ability to perform cleaning and food preparation tasks
- ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift moderate weight
- must be able to comply with food safety standards
- willingness to work in a healthcare food service environment
Job Qualifications

- knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast paced environment
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- help prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- help prepare catering orders
- perform cashier duties using the POS system
- perform general cleaning duties
- remove trash and garbage to designated areas
- provide service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- cashier according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy with receipts
- make deposits at the end of each shift
- inventory and restock supplies and food products
- set up serving line ensuring temperatures are taken and recorded
- notify cooks if food temperatures are not within acceptable limits
- serve hot and cold items to customers
- set up items for purchase on daily basis
- keep refrigerator stocked and rotate product using first in first out rule
- stock pantries with correct par levels of food items on a daily basis
- record replenished amounts on floor stock form
- record refrigerator temperatures on floor stock form daily
- perform other duties as assigned
