Job Requirements
- No prior experience required
- Ability to work full time Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Must be able to perform cashier duties accurately
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Must follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be able to lift and carry moderate weight
- Must have reliable transportation to the SAS Marketplace Cafe location
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to operate POS system
- Ability to perform basic food preparation tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Customer service experience is a plus but not required
Job Duties
- Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts
- Helps prepare catering orders
- Performs cashier duties using the POS system
- Performs general cleaning duties including trash removal
- Provides service in all retail areas including cashiering and line serving
- Cashiers according to established procedures maintaining cash accuracy
- Makes deposits at the end of each shift
- Inventories and restocks supplies and food products
- Sets up serving line ensuring food temperatures are within acceptable ranges
- Serves hot and cold items to customers
- Sets up items for purchase daily
- Keeps refrigerator stocked and rotates products using first in, first out rule
- Stocks pantries with correct par levels of food items daily
- Records replenished amounts and refrigerator temperatures
- Performs other duties as assigned
