Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior cashier or food service experience preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to handle cash accurately
- willingness to work varied seasonal shifts including weekends and evenings
- ability to follow company safety policies including use of medium weight cut gloves and oven mitts
- ability to wear slip-resistant shoes and practice proper lifting techniques
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in cashiering or food service preferred
- ability to operate Point of Sale system
- basic food handling skills
- customer service skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- ability to work varying shifts including weekdays, weekends, and nights
- basic math skills for cash handling
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Operates Point of Sale system
- assists in food preparation including meats, vegetables, baked goods, and desserts
- performs cashier duties with cash accuracy and end-of-shift deposits
- maintains cleanliness of coffee and cashier stations
- inventories and restocks supplies and food products
- sets up serving lines and monitors food temperatures
- serves hot and cold items to customers
- performs general cleaning duties including trash removal
- keeps refrigerator stocked and rotates products using FIFO method
- records replenished stock and refrigerator temperatures
- assists with catering order preparation
- performs other assigned duties
