The Food Service Worker role is essential to the delivery of excellent food services in all of Kaweah Health’s food service locations. Working either in the cafeteria/retail service or in cold food and catering assignments, the worker’s responsibilities include food preparation, customer service, maintaining cleanliness standards, and ensuring food safety by monitoring temperatures and following proper portioning techniques. They also assist with catering setup and cleanup, aid in stocking workstations, and help deliver patient trays when required. The role demands attention to detail, the ability to follow recipes and food handling guidelines, and a commitment to maintaining a sanitary environment.
