Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum six months experience as a cashier or in food service preferred
- Ability to perform physical tasks including cleaning and food prep
- Availability to work variable shifts up to 8 hours
- Basic proficiency in operating cash registers and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Strong customer service orientation
- Ability to maintain accurate records and follow instructions
Job Qualifications

- Six months cashier experience preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment for food preparation

Job Duties
- Thoroughly cleans cafeteria and serving areas including tables, chairs, and floors
- Provides excellent customer service by taking food orders, serving, and preparing food
- Serves food using proper portioning techniques
- Takes and records food temperatures, ensuring safety standards
- Operates cash registers with accuracy and follows cash handling policies
- Assists with catering setup, service, and cleanup as needed
- Prepares food items such as salads, sandwiches, and desserts following recipes
- Stocks workstations and disposes of garbage according to standards
- Delivers patient trays and catering items when required
- Cleans and sanitizes workstations, counters, and equipment
- Maintains accurate food supply records and controls food waste
- Delivers food supplies to various hospital locations including Kaweah Kids
- Performs additional duties as assigned to support food service operations
