Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Six months cashier experience preferred
  • Knowledge of customer service principles
  • Ability to work variable shifts of 8 hours or less
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow food preparation and safety guidelines
  • Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately

  • Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and food safety protocols
  • Comfortable operating kitchen equipment and cash registers
  • Ability to provide care and services appropriate to the population served

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly cleans cafeteria and serving areas including tables, chairs, floors, counters, shelves, and equipment
  • Provides excellent customer service by taking food orders and serving food
  • Prepares food items following recipes and proper portioning techniques
  • Operates cash registers ensuring cash accuracy and proper handling
  • Assists with catering setup, replenishment, and cleanup
  • Takes and records food temperatures, acting promptly if out of range
  • Stocks workstations and disposes of garbage as per department standards
