Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred
- Six months cashier experience preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles
- Ability to work variable shifts of 8 hours or less
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow food preparation and safety guidelines
- Ability to operate cash registers and handle cash accurately
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Six months cashier experience preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles and processes
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and food safety protocols
- Comfortable operating kitchen equipment and cash registers
- Ability to provide care and services appropriate to the population served
Job Duties
- Thoroughly cleans cafeteria and serving areas including tables, chairs, floors, counters, shelves, and equipment
- Provides excellent customer service by taking food orders and serving food
- Prepares food items following recipes and proper portioning techniques
- Operates cash registers ensuring cash accuracy and proper handling
- Assists with catering setup, replenishment, and cleanup
- Takes and records food temperatures, acting promptly if out of range
- Stocks workstations and disposes of garbage as per department standards
