Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work weekends and flexible hours
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Physical capability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
Job Qualifications
- Must be friendly and courteous with customers
- Able to effectively communicate in English
- Work independently
- Capable of performing basic math calculations
- Ability to learn to operate fee computer systems and processes
- Ability to follow directions and accept training practice/follow up
- Ability to work in a garage environment exposed to noise and crowds
- Ability to stand for 8 hours
Job Duties
- Ensure that parking tickets are accurately calculated and the fee correctly collected by the customer
- Communicate with customers in a friendly and inviting manner, answering questions about parking operation including but not limited to hours of operation and rates
- Direct customers to open egress lanes to maintain speedy service and exits
- Accurately complete daily cashier shift report
- Coordinate with management on processing exception transactions
- Inform management of safety and security issues in a timely manner
- Perform snow removal in short durations in affected work area
- Train other employees
- Perform extra work duties including window cleaning, equipment wipe down, pick up trash/debris, direct traffic, and other duties as assigned
- Perform other duties as assigned
