Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- a current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- ability to operate an electronic register
- must demonstrate basic math skills and proficiency at 10-key
- previous retail or public customer contact experience preferred
- must be able to meet physical demands of position including standing bending twisting repetitive motion and lifting 10-40 lbs
- availability to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
- excellent communication skills
- must be able to handle money accurately

- a current Food Worker Card from the Washington State Department of Health is required
- if hired into this role a CPR/First Aid Certification is required paid for by PCC
- must be at least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- modeling and providing excellent professional customer service
- accurately and efficiently scanning and keying items into the register
- receiving and processing all payments according to PCC standards
- performing basic math skills and proficiency at 10-key
- communicating effectively about PCC's membership and programs
- handling merchandise returns in a friendly manner
- bagging groceries according to PCC bagging guidelines
- maintaining orderly appearance of register area
- ensure that department sanitation cleanliness and safety standards are met
- when acting in the PIC capacity supervising the front end and overseeing entire store ensuring that all PCC policies and procedures are followed
- handling security issues carefully and responsibly
- protecting the safety of staff and customers and the security of PCC property
- handling daily use and any problems with equipment properly and ensuring adherence to store standards
- ensures department sanitation cleanliness and safety standards are met
