Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of retail experience preferably in luxury goods
  • strong communication skills
  • knowledge of cash register or point-of-sale systems
  • detail oriented with good numerical sense
  • experience in cash handling preferred
  • customer service skills
  • ability to multi-task efficiently
  • strong organizational skills
  • basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Accurately record point of sales transaction at the register including processing sales, sends, repairs, and assist in preparation of opening and closing procedures with management
  • consistently provide high levels of service to clients within the Hermes standard of service including greeting, assisting, and packaging
  • support the sales team by providing cashier service and support as required
  • process payment transactions such as cash, credit card, and other forms in compliance with company policies
  • process multiple transactional requests such as returns, exchanges, refunds, and tax refunds
  • reconcile daily transactions with cash and other balances ensuring proper cash flow
  • input transaction and client information accurately on the system and invoices
  • assist in preparing daily cashier report
  • answer phones timely with friendly and appropriate customer service
  • support general store operations and perform ad hoc duties as assigned
  • promote teamwork and collaborate closely with store team
