Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate a point-of-sale system
- Basic math skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Texas Alcohol Food Beverage Commission (TABC) certification
- Prior cash handling experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred

Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- Scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment
- Issue receipts and ensure accurate record-keeping
- Bag or package customer purchases as needed
- Answer customer inquiries and provide assistance with product selection
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stock and replenish supplies at the checkout counter
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
- Assist with other store tasks such as stocking shelves or cleaning
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Promote store promotions and loyalty programs
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
