Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours per day
- ability to perform hand motions including grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling
- ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- able to work in wet and cold environments
- exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- must work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and ladders if necessary

Job Duties
- Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- cleans and stocks Front End areas including own register
- follows all cash handling procedures
- assists with training new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- helps control customer flow and reduces wait times
- participates in company programs
- arrives on time and ready to work
- provides excellent customer service and models suggestive selling
- maintains product merchandising standards
- ensures compliance with Weights and Measures and health and sanitation standards
- maintains a clean and sanitary environment
- performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- reports safety hazards
- performs other duties as assigned
- completes shopper training and assists with shopper tasks if assigned
