Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Ability to use single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling with hands
- Capability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment like box cutters and pallet jacks
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Check out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- Uphold government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- Follow proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- Use proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- Clean and stock Front End areas including own register
- Follow all cash handling procedures
- Assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- Assist supervisor in controlling customer flow
- Proactively participate in company programs
- Arrive on time, appropriately groomed and dressed
- Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling
- Maximize sales potential through product prep, storage, rotation, stocking and merchandising
- Comply with Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintain clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties
- Report safety hazards and violations
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Complete shopper training and tasks as assigned (for hires November 2024 and beyond)
