Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours per day
- Ability to perform physical motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Ability to work in cold, wet, and varied temperature environments
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and pallet jacks
- Ability to follow directions and procedures
- Must arrive groomed, dressed, and ready to work
- Must comply with health and safety regulations
- Must be willing to participate in training and meetings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience with cash handling and customer service beneficial but not required
- Ability to deliver information respectfully

- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of quality and safety standards
Job Duties
- Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register
- Follows all cash handling procedures
- Assists in training new Cashier and Cashier Assistant team members
- Controls customer flow and reduces wait times
- Participates in company programs
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitary conditions
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- Reports safety hazards
- Completes shopper training if assigned for certain hires
- Performs other duties as assigned
