Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Standing and walking 6-8 hours per day
- Hand use including grasping and manipulation
- Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and pallet jacks
- May require use of ladders

Job Duties
- Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
- Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
- Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
- Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
- Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register
- Follows all cash handling procedures
- May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
- Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
- Proactively participates in company programs
- Arrives to workstation on time, appropriately groomed and ready to work
- Provides excellent customer service and addresses needs of customers
- Maximizes sales potential through proper product handling
- Follows and complies with health and safety regulations
- Maintains a clean and sanitary environment
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Immediately reports safety hazards and violations
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
- May be assigned shopper tasks within the Customer Service Team
