Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • Standing and walking 6-8 hours per day
  • Hand use including grasping and manipulation
  • Ability to bend, twist, squat and reach
  • Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
  • Ability to work in wet and cold environments
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and pallet jacks
  • May require use of ladders

Job Duties

  • Checks out customer groceries efficiently and accurately
  • Upholds government regulations concerning sale of alcoholic beverages and taxation
  • Follows proper check, ATM, and credit procedures
  • Uses proper tares procedures when ringing up scalable items
  • Cleans and stocks Front End areas, including own register
  • Follows all cash handling procedures
  • May assist with training of new Cashier and Cashier Assistant Team Members
  • Assists supervisor in controlling customer flow and backed up lines
  • Proactively participates in company programs
  • Arrives to workstation on time, appropriately groomed and ready to work
  • Provides excellent customer service and addresses needs of customers
  • Maximizes sales potential through proper product handling
  • Follows and complies with health and safety regulations
  • Maintains a clean and sanitary environment
  • Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
  • Immediately reports safety hazards and violations
  • Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
  • May be assigned shopper tasks within the Customer Service Team
