Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in retail supervisory or management capacity
- Previous knowledge or work-related experience in garden center products such as plants or landscape materials
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Good technical knowledge including POS, Windows, and Excel
- Demonstrated strength in employee relations, problem solving and customer service
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly
- High energy level with ability to provide strong leadership, train, delegate and motivate staff
- Personal documented history of exceptional performance at Bachman’s and track record of supporting company management, policies and procedures

Job Duties
- Assist in managing the assigned store operations and directly supervising retail operations as assigned by the Assistant Store Manager
- Train and model exceptional customer service
- Perform merchandising, ordering, stocking, displaying, and inventory control of products
- Provide daily supervision and encourage a teamwork environment that meets customer expectations
- Perform required administrative functions including schedules, reviews, and timecards
- Manage product quality and communication needs to appropriate buyers
- Provide feedback to support departments
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and organization throughout the store
- Manage the entire store’s operation in absence of Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager
