Job Requirements
- Ability to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
- Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while using appropriate equipment and safety techniques
- Open availability for full-time associates
- Part-time flexibility with minimum 15 hours per week including weekend and weekday shifts
- Availability during annual inventory and the entire holiday season
- Ability to handle multiple clients simultaneously and efficiently
- Ability to perform cash wrap operations accurately and efficiently
- Commitment to upholding company policies and People-First culture
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role
- Proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a team environment and independently
- Experience operating POS systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build lasting customer relationships
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think outside-the-box
- Passion for exceeding sales goals
Job Duties
- Consistently keep the store energy lively and upbeat for customers and teammates
- Engage multiple clients at the cash wrap and create a positive, lasting impression by offering personalized service
- Accurately and efficiently perform register/POS transactions, sales, returns, exchanges, etc.
- Ensure accurate ringing and pricing of merchandise, use appropriate price overrides when necessary
- Manage all aspects of a customer's expectations, clearly communicating product information, care, maintenance, timeframes, and delivery
- Affirm the client’s purchase and offer additional merchandise suggestions to complement and complete initial selections
- Ensure client is aware of all promotions that may impact sales
- Share information and testimonials about product, in-store events and workshops
- Maintain visual standards and supplies of the cash wrap area
- Maximize all resources available to get the customer what they want and resolve any issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
- Foster an environment where all associates are treated fairly and with dignity and respect
