Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience with food handling or cashier operations preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • good communication skills
  • commitment to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
  • availability for day/evening shifts including weekend and holiday rotation
  • fully vaccinated or exempt from influenza and COVID-19 vaccination requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to follow written instructions
  • experience with proper food safety and sanitary procedures preferred
  • must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or be exempt by signing an exemption statement
  • compensation pay rate determined based on level of experience

Job Duties

  • Provide support for retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department including cashier duties
  • set up all stations and perform assigned positions
  • break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized
  • clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures
  • assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale
  • use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions
  • perform other reasonable duties as assigned
