Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience with food handling or cashier operations preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- good communication skills
- commitment to follow safety and sanitation guidelines
- availability for day/evening shifts including weekend and holiday rotation
- fully vaccinated or exempt from influenza and COVID-19 vaccination requirements
Job Qualifications
- Ability to follow written instructions
- experience with proper food safety and sanitary procedures preferred
- must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or be exempt by signing an exemption statement
- compensation pay rate determined based on level of experience
Job Duties
- Provide support for retail areas of the Food & Nutrition Department including cashier duties
- set up all stations and perform assigned positions
- break down stations completely ensuring they are cleaned and sanitized
- clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces according to procedures
- assure that all food items are accurately dated, labeled, and rotated prior to storage and or placed for sale
- use proper utensils to ensure accurate portions
- perform other reasonable duties as assigned
