Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or provide approved exemption
  • previous food service or cashier experience preferred
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols
  • excellent interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide cashier support for retail areas in Food & Nutrition Services
  • set up all stations and perform assigned positions
  • break down stations completely ensuring cleanliness and sanitation
  • clean and sanitize equipment and food surfaces following procedures
  • assure accurate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items prior to storage or sale
  • use proper utensils for accurate portion control
  • perform other duties as assigned
