- High school diploma or equivalent
- basic math skills
- strong communication and customer service skills
- ability to operate a cash register and other point-of-sale equipment
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to handle transactions quickly and accurately
- ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- ability to stand for extended periods of time
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Texas Alcohol Food Beverage Commission (TABC) certification required
Job Qualifications

- cash handling experience preferred but not required
- basic math skills

- bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred

Job Duties
- Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service
- scan and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently
- handle cash, credit/debit card transactions, and other forms of payment
- issue receipts and ensure accurate record-keeping
- bag or package customer purchases as needed
- answer customer inquiries and provide assistance with product selection
- maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- stock and replenish supplies at the checkout counter
- adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security
- assist with other store tasks as assigned, such as stocking shelves or cleaning
- resolve customer complaints and escalate issues to management when necessary
- promote store promotions and loyalty programs
- maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times
