  • Graduation from a standard high school or vocational school
  • prior cashier experience
  • ability to be bonded
  • ability to maintain good public relations
  • valid driver's license and a good driving record
  • effectively communicate and comprehend English, both orally and in writing
  • ability to perform the essential functions of this job without creating a direct threat to the safety of oneself or others

Job Duties

  • Collect parking lot fees from users by utilizing computer system
  • conduct opening and closing procedures accurately and record the same on appropriate forms
  • collect parking lot fees, accept parking tickets, operate fee computer, accept money, make change
  • assist the public by explaining fees, providing directions, locating parked cars
  • handle customer complaints in a responsive, respectful manner
  • clean booth and surrounding areas
  • stock booths with supplies needed to perform essential functions
  • provide relief for breaks for other cashiers on shift
  • provide parking customer service support when necessary
  • recovery of jammed credit cards and/or tickets for customers as needed
  • complete all necessary paperwork
  • report all unusual security situation to the police department
  • perform any other jobs assigned by the supervisor
