Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- One year experience operating a cash register in food service or equivalent
- Food Handlers Permit accredited by Texas Department of State Health Services or American National Standards Institute
- Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, physicians and staff
- Basic math skills
- Team player and cooperative attitude
- Knowledge of local Food Ordinances
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Handle cash, credit and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide receipts and make correct change
- Prepare cashier's reports and deposit revenues following cash handling procedures
- Support food service operations including food preparation and dining room assistance
- Operate relevant food services equipment as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service and equipment areas
- Respond to customer and visitor requests, escalating issues to supervisors as necessary
