Job Duties
- Collect payments for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency accounts
- receive money collected from all business office cashiers
- post payment to patient accounts
- balance receipts and totals
- maintain logs relating to patient valuables, change fund, and petty cash fund
- perform other general office and cashiering duties including cashing checks, processing paperwork for deceased patients, processing returned checks, refunding money lost in vending machines, selling flower coupons
