Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or cashier experience preferred
- Ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work standing on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Ability to lift objects up to 30 pounds frequently
- Ability to cooperate and collaborate in a team environment
- Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Legal authorization to work
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases including renewals and upgrades
- Scan merchandise accurately through point-of-sale systems
- Accept payments via cash, check, or charge payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-line checkout area
- Assist members at self-checkout and scan and pan lanes
- Provide high-level customer service and resolve member concerns
- Support club policies, procedures, and compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned including working in other departments
- Ensure regular and predictable attendance
- Meet cashier productivity expectations
