Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand and move frequently on hard surfaces
- Capacity to lift and move items up to 30 pounds
- Basic computer skills to operate point-of-sale systems
- Demonstrated honesty and integrity
- Commitment to provide excellent member service
- Availability for full-time schedule
- Regular and predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- Verify, renew, upgrade, and offer several types of membership products
- Scan merchandise accurately and efficiently
- Accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and charges
- Provide excellent member service throughout the purchase process
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline and assist with general club housekeeping
- Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes and assist members with technical difficulties
- Meet cashier productivity expectations
- Adhere to club policies and procedures
- Perform additional duties and work in other departments as assigned
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
