Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Capability to occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps
- Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and finger motions
- Ability to work in varied environmental conditions including low or high temperatures and outdoor elements
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 20 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent experience
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change
- Excellent communication skills with customers and associates
- Ability to operate computerized POS register system
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers
Job Duties
- Check out customer merchandise through POS registers
- Greet and acknowledge all customers promptly and courteously
- Support world-class customer service and ensure a pleasant shopping experience
- Maintain product knowledge and awareness of current sales
- Stock and straighten shelves and pegs when not ringing up customers
- Assist customers with buying decisions by identifying needs and making product recommendations
- Promote store programs including CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up
- Perform other duties as assigned
