Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in cashier or retail sales roles advantageous
- Must be available to work Thursday through Saturday 3PM-10PM and Sunday 1PM-8PM
- Ability to stand and move frequently for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier objects with assistance
- Dependable and regular attendance
- Strong commitment to customer service and club standards
- Ability to handle multiple payment methods and operate point-of-sale technology
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- Ability to work Thursday through Saturday 3PM-10PM and Sunday 1PM-8PM
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Job Duties
- Process member purchases including verifying, renewing, and upgrading memberships
- Scan merchandise through point-of-sale systems ensuring accurate inventory and purchase totals
- Accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and charge payments
- Provide excellent and timely customer service to all members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-line department and assist with general club housekeeping
- Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes assisting members with technical difficulties
- Adhere to all club policies and procedures and meet cashier productivity expectations
