Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail or cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to stand and move frequently
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently with occasional assistance for heavier items
- Ability to work indoors with occasional exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Must adhere to club policies and procedures
- Must maintain regular, predictable attendance
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
Job Duties
- Process member purchases courteously and efficiently
- Verify, renew, and upgrade membership products
- Scan merchandise through point-of-sale system
- Accept various forms of payment including cash and check
- Provide excellent member service and resolve concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the frontline area
- Manage self-checkout and assist members with technical difficulties
