Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to provide courteous and efficient customer service
- Capability to handle various payment methods accurately
- Physical ability to frequently move about on hard surfaces and lift objects up to 30 pounds
- Willingness to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Regular, predictable attendance
- Ability to work flexibly in different departments if needed
- Commitment to club policies and standards
Job Qualifications
- Basic math skills preferred
- Prior cashier or sales experience preferred
Job Duties
- Process member purchases in a courteous and friendly manner
- Verify, renew, upgrade, and offer membership products
- Scan merchandise accurately and manage point-of-sale transactions
- Accept various forms of payment including cash, check, and charge payments
- Provide excellent member service and handle member concerns efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-line department
- Assist at self-checkout stations and manage scan and pan lanes
- Ensure compliance with club policies and procedures
- Support general club housekeeping and return re-sellable merchandise to sales floor
- Meet cashier productivity expectations
- Perform other duties as assigned
